Course Yardage February 2007 The Northern
California Golf Association recently re-measured yardage for each of the
eighteen holes at the course. New scorecards and new tee decals with the
updated information were ordered and will be available by the first week of
February. Proposed Changes to Fees at Shoreline Golf Links Staff has proposed a few changes to the fees at Shoreline Golf Links. These proposals were reviewed with the Advisory Greens Committee (AGC) at the Tuesday, January 23 meeting. The AGC felt the proposals were appropriate and reasonable. Proposed is an increase in golf car rentals from $22 to $24, back nine $15 to $17 and member club single rider $11 to $12. The fee for golf carts has been in place since 1998, is lower than all other courses surveyed and the carts themselves are in excellent condition. Also, concerning golf lessons, increases to those classes where fees do not cover expenses has been proposed. A temporary decrease in greens fees for Fridays is also proposed. Green fees for seniors, twilight and super twilight categories were also reviewed but no increases proposed. The Parks and Recreation Commission will review the proposals at its February 14, 2007 meeting. The meeting is open to the public and begins at 7:00 p.m. It will be held at the Mountain View Public Library, 585 Franklin Street .
