US Kids Qualifying Tournament
A US Kids Northern California World Championship Qualifying Tournament was held Thursday, June 19, with 103 players. Age Group Winners: Girls 6 and under Grace Chen 42; age group 8: Quyan Dueng 43; age group 9: Naomi Lee 49; age group 10: Michelle Xie 39; age group 11: Chloe Corriveau; age group 12: MacKenzie Perez 47. Goose Control
Henry Losee and his dogs patrol Shoreline Golf Links 5 days a week. Henry and his wife Suzanne control resident geese at parks and golf courses all around the Bay Area.
The City has leased a Goose Poop Remover for three months on a trial basis. During this time the sweeper will be used at the golf course and the turfed areas of Shoreline at Mountain View. The goose poop will be composted and used.
